With decades of experience behind the camera, I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients, from local businesses and charities, to portraits of members of New Zealand Parliament. People trust me with their images, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Described as an extrovert, what I love most about my job is the opportunity to connect with people, which helps me bring out the best in them during our portrait session. With my expertise I can help you feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens.
As a husband and father of four, I understand the importance of family and the value of capturing those special moments we cherish for a lifetime. When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my loved ones, walking the family dog, or indulging in masters basketball, walking, cycling, and keeping fit.
I believe that everyone has a unique story to tell. My job as a professional photographer is to help you bring that story to life. I specialise in luxury portraits, personal branding, and executive headshots. I can’t live without . . .
Family life
Family is essential for my emotional well-being and personal growth. I have a loving wife and four children. Our twins were born during lockdown v1.0, a most stressful time in our lives. I’m happy to say we now have 4 very healthy children. I love playing a critical role in shaping our children's values, beliefs, and behaviors, and watching them grow and develop is amazing and incredibly fulfilling. Though family life is not always easy, with love, patience, and perseverance, we navigate challenges together and emerge stronger as a family unit.
Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea is an essential part of my daily routine that I simply cannot live without. Well actually, throughout the day and not just afternoons. It's not just a drink, but a treasured ritual that brings a sense of calm and comfort to my day. It must be my English heritage. This simple pleasure always manages to lift my spirits and put a smile on my face. It's a small but significant indulgence that I look forward to every day, and it has become a cherished part of my life that I simply cannot do without.
Active Lifestyle
Regular activity is essential for my lifestyle, especially important as I get older. It has become part of my life since I was a very young basketball player. More important now, I want to enter old age gracefully and be able to move freely with my young children. I find moving my body regularly helps to maintain strength, flexibility, balance and well-being. It gives me more zest for life. Over 4 decades of competitive basketball has taken its toll, but not enough to stop me playing masters basketball when I can. It’s magical watching my children learning to play the game I love so much.

Sir Henry, our beloved family dog, is more than just a pet. He's a cherished member of our family. His wagging tail and happy demeanor never fail to put a smile on our faces, and his unconditional love and loyalty are a constant source of comfort and support.
